BGSEC is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) , Ministry of Human Resource Development , Govt. of India, New Delhi, founded on 5 June 2000 by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji. BGSEC is a co-educational institution and medium of instruction is English.
